What is ISO 9001?

   ISO 9001 (the so-called ISO 9001: 2008 – the latest version of ISO 9001) developed and issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001: 2008) is a standardized quality management system. This standard has the full name of ISO 9001: 2015 – Quality Management System – Requirements.

   ISO 9001 requirements are used as a framework for a Quality Management System. This standard is also used for assessing conformity and certification of an organization’s Quality Management System.
